Designs are AI-generated inspiration only. They are not architectural, engineering, horticultural or safety advice, and nothing here has been checked against your actual site. Always do your own research and get qualified advice before you build, dig, plant or buy anything.
Before any work starts:
- Find your underground services first. Gas, electricity, water, sewer and telecoms can run anywhere. In Australia use Before You Dig (1100). Striking a gas or power line can kill.
- Check permits and approvals. Councils regulate decks, pergolas, retaining walls, pools, and often paving and drainage.
- Pools and water features are life-safety items. Every Australian state requires compliant pool fencing by law, and our designs do not show one. Similar rules apply in the UK, US and elsewhere.
- Confirm your boundaries before building near a fence or a neighbour.
- Check plants for your climate and for toxicity to children and pets.
- Use licensed trades for electrical, gas, plumbing, structural and pool work.
